I have a 2000 fleetwood pace arrow motor home, Model 37S. The dash on this motor home has been a problem since the day I drove it out of the dealer's lot in 2000. It has vibrated and moved up and down and has been noisy beyond belief. There are 4 long screws holding the dash to the chassis. 2 of the screws have pulled through the dash and now the dash has split on the right side of the steering column and sits over the stiring column. The dash is made from plactic or other form of resin and most of the weight is on the right side, (ie. back-up camera, radio, temperature controls, etc).
I would appreciate hearing about any experience that other Fleetwood owners have had with similar problems. I'm of the opinion this dash is not of sufficient thickness to withstand the vibrations of normal driving, nor is it anchored sufficiently.
Thanks in advance for your response. |
