I don't know those plans. Extended warranty is just an insurance policy. It will not cover a lot of things you would think it does. Read the coverage carfully!!!! The next thing is are you going to use this unit a lot or not and can you afford to fix a $1800 fridge or $500 furnace? Not going to use it a bunch then less good of a deal. Going to up grade in a year or two and buying a new unit? still a bad deal. They base the warranty cost on price of the unit where I have experiance but what is covered doesnt change much so if you can afford a $100,000 unit that you are only going to use a couple weekends and a couple weeks a year it is probably a bad bet. This is a bet that you will have trouble with your unit, the bet makes sense if you will be badly hurt by a unexpected repair bill and gets more attractive the more you use the unit.
