I have a Toyota Hiace Van that developes a squeal over time after being in the garage to have it look at. I'm sick of taking it back in every time only to have it adjusted and back in again after a couple of months. I don't really get an explanation only a "It could be the air conditioner" from the mechanics, so i try not to use it, but when it gets hot or cold then what?. Can you help
I have seen this many times, Try changing the brand belt you are using, this fixed the problem on several vehicals, the other problem is that the pullies are polished up to the point the use up belts, I used to sand pullies back in the day when they were all V belts. I still haven't figured out what to do with serpintine belts. Some guys just spray belt junk or silicone lube on to make the squeel go away. I don't like either. Good Luck
