I have a 1998 ford ranger 4 cyl. and it does not keep charge and my blinkers dont work when it does run. if i keep the truck on jumper cables it runs just fine but as soon as i talk it off it starts to drain fast. also i put a new alternater and battery and it still does the same thing, some one help me i love this truck
My best guess is that you have a (SHORT)somewhere... but the first thing is if you had a bad alternater and it killed the battery as well...then you just installed the new alternater with out replacing or (PRE) chanrging the ols battery you may have just killed the new alternater as well....Good Luck.
