At the alt there should be two wires, a small one and a heavy guage one. The small one is only hot when the key is in the "run" position, and should show battery voltage. The heavy wire is the alt output and should go to the isolator connection marked Alt or such. Of the other 2 connections, one will go to the "+" terminal of the chassis battery, the other will go to the "+" terminal of one of the 2 house batteries( do you have 2 12 volt batteries wired in parallel or 2 6 volt ones wired in series? |
