I have a Suburban NT16SE furnace in my 13' Trillium camper. It ceratinly heats the camper up (we use it in 10F degree weather), but I would like to quiet the fan down. The fan is pretty loud when you're only 6 feet away from it (it's a darn small camper). It also puts out plenty of heat and ideally I would like to just slow down the fan to say half-speed. That would certainly be quieter. However, I can imagine it could possibly overheat the heater, no? I suppose another option is to insulate the outside of the sheetmetal heater so it doesn't transmit as much noise, however that too might result in overheating the heater no? Any ideas? Thanks, Gabe |
