The actual spec for pump pressure will in the range indicated by the counter guy. Unfortunatly it will be a particular pressure plus or minus 1 psi or less EG 9 +-.5 psi. It sounds to me as if the power feed either from the computor or from the starting circuit is not there. This means either you computor is not seeing the starter turning the engine or there is no power being fed from the start position on the ignition to the pump. Either way you need to get the unit scaned or get a wiring diagram to figure out where to start looking. I have had to wire up a pump overrule switch to avoid buying a computor in one of my beaters. Was holding the buton down and cranking to get a start. Good Luck |
