I have a 2005 Skyline Weekender I recently purchased. I have used the furnace a few times with no issues. This weekend I fired furnace up and it worked great for an hour or so but started blowing cold. Fan wouldn't shut off and after cycling the thermostat to get re-ignited, it finally wouldn't try to light....Any help would be greatly appreciated. Anthony 469-682-3918 or wba_appraiser@yahoo.com
Two things spring to mind every time I hear these symptoms. What battery voltage did you have? The furnace fan will run but not ignite bellow 11.5 volts or so. Esencialy the ignitor board is brain dead. Remeber a battery is dead below 12.2 volts. The second thing is that with good voltage and this symptom the furnace has a control problem. High limit, sale switch, ignitor short, bad board. From your symptoms I would bet a low Battery. Good Luck
Mine did that but I was out of propane. I didn't think about that because it hadn't been long since I filled bottle but it was cold and it had run longer than I had thought.
