I have inherited the care & feeding of this generator is on a 1989 Ford Econoline 350 chassis. I haven't been able to order the manuals just yet.
The generator 12v connections are made to the engine start, lights, ignition battery. I disconnected the negative terminal at the battery while the generator was running & under load and it stopped.
Is this 0.7 amp parasitic load normal?
The unit had a craftsman battery charger hard-wired in, I guess it is needed!
