I wonder. Just on start up? You may have an injector problem and the fuel is black from the contamination. It could be oil, that would be bad as it would indicate a serious internal problem. It could be and oil leak in the blower or turbo draining into the air box. My best advice is to get an experianced Detroit guy to look at it. Many of the techs I know do diagnoses and opinion for beer after hours. You just need find out who does this. My best contact has allways been the shop foreman at the local dealer regardless of make.
