We have a Hydro Flame 8525 III Furnace. The blower runs, but the burner will not stay ignited. It keeps going off and on. Turn the temp up to 80 and it works fine. Anything below 80 the burner just ignites, and shuts off, ignites, and shuts off - and does not come up to temperature. Any ideas. It's in a 1995 Jayco Eagle 5th Wheel.
Thanks.
Are you short cycling or High limiting? It sounds as if the furnace is short cycling. This would be caused by the T-stat being over a duct and in direct air flow from the furnace or a faulty T stat. The set it to 80 degrees is the clue. Check it again with the tempurature set high and make sure. If the flame still cuts in and out its High limiting and thats a completely difrent problem. Good Luck
Open the thermostat up and move the pointer for the limiter up a bit to let its cycle run longer, adjust this until you get the right amount of heating time for the location of the termostat
