I have a problem? with excessive hot water, like scalding hot. Is this a normal setting on this heater as I have been advised by a ser. tech. I have been using only the electric so don't know what it does on gas. An info would be appreciated.

Hi Mark, you might want to check/replace your ECO - thermostat bulbs. These would cause your water to be to hot if the high temp limit bulb is bad. They're readily available at RV parts stores. If they're on the front it's an easy change out, if on the back under the wiring/ heating element housing a little harder but not bad depending on freedom of access. Good luck!
