Hi David, is this the first time of the season using the furnace? If so and if you have mud daubers in your area you might want to see if they have built a nest in the exhaust tube or in/on the burner. You have to remove the burner to see inside, but you don't have to remove the furnace. Or the electrode spark gap isn't correct. Isn't it a 8531-III? Hope this helps. Hard to say for sure without seeing it. Good luck.
Thanks. There was a daubers nest inside the chamber. Am going to check the burner and orifice. What is the spark gap supposed to be? Must have had a Dyslexic moment on that 8531.
