When I hook up to city water on my 85 Pace Arrow it My grey water tank fills up. I have hooked up in my driveway and opened my drain and the water contiues to come out any suggestions I do use a pressure restrictor. also if we are out for just a weekend our grey water tank is full overnight
I had a similar problem with my fresh water tank. Anytime I hooked up to city water the onboard tank would fill up and overflow overnight. The backflow check valve was bad, so that when hooked up the campground faucet not only supplied my sink, it trickled past the bad check valve into the onboard tank. Since this is the grey water in your case I doubt this is your problem, just thought I'd mention it. I agree with Sparky, check those items. If it isn't the tank valve, before you replace the pump you might try splicing an extra shut off valve into the system just after the pump. Try shutting it off at night and see what happens. If that cures it you'll know the pumps internal check valve is shot. Plus, then you'll have a valve to shut off prevent water getting all over when you pull the pump to replace it. Just an idea. Good luck!
