Our compressor went out on our a/c unit on Class C RV 1995. The mechanic says they don't make ours anymore. Said we can put a new one in and run all of the wires, or put in a unit like in a popup that doesn't run through the ducts. What's the best choice?
Do NOT jury rig---put back what goes in it-a AC that only cools part---will DE-Value your rv---
and you will probably regret putting a pop up ac--in it-
rich
Nonsense....find another RV dealer. I have replaced unit's in older coaches than yours. Do it right the first time, and you won't regret it. Do it half ass and you will hate yourself for not doing it right.
We have a Class B 1985 Dodge 250 Ram Van Conversion. Has furnace no Roof Air. Considering buying a Duo-Therm Model # 57915.622 and an Onan 4kw RV generator. Is this a wise move and what type of place is the best to install it? A place like Camping World? We are in the Central Northern Indiana area near the Michigan border.
