Power Gear levelers are not so good.
I've read other web sites and it seems
there are a lot of problems with them.
Mostly on National RV Products. I have
a 2001 31' National Sea View. Since new I've had 3 different mechanics
look at them and no one could figure out why they did not always work. Now they work fine but the red lite stays on and beeps continuously for about an
hour even though the levelers are up.
Its enough to drive you crazy. Any ideas out there.

I am looking for a new touch pad again for my power supply.Installed a new one a year ago and it went bad and I can't seem to find it. I am in Hemet California.Its a 35' 96 Dolfin MH
I had a similar problem that turned out to be low hydraulic fluid. But your problem may be different - surely at least one of the 3 mechanics would have checked your hydraulic fluid level.
I have power gear levelers on my tropical diesel pusher using the 500731 control unit. started with a buzzer alarm going down the road and all the lights flashing. found that one of the sensors on the pump unit was loose. tightened and problem went away. later it was lights and buzzer sounding when on the road...jacks were up...removed the fuse to turn unit off to finish drive. this problem continued even though fluid was changed and at proper level. could lower jacks and raise them sucessfully, but jacks down light would stay on and you couldn't turn off power at the keyboard. pulling fuse allowed clearing of problem. unplugging the level float sensor on the unit allows for the unit to work for lowering and raising the jacks and then being able to turn off the unit via the power switch. measuring across the sensor revealed 1002 ohms using a meter. my guess is a sticking or bad sensor. BUT the powergearus.com website won't allow me to see any tipsheets, view any manuels, or even send them email. Calls via telephone yield voicemail saying we no longer sell directly to customers, go to a dealer. Can't say that i feel the company is customer oriented anymore for some reason. good luck to all and hope this helps someone. john
I have 1997 american dream jacks will not extend motor runs but pump dosn't work. trouble shooting says it is the dump valve can't get to power gear co. any one have any suggestions.
