What primer pump? are you talking about the pump in the carb.? Don't know what system you have but lots of shorter models just use a mechanical pump on the engine.Usually around 24 ft or so will have a boost pump in the tank as well as the pump on the engine.Have you checked all the fuel filters,one on the input to the carb.one on the curb side frame rail,and if there is a pump in the tank a screen on the pick up.If it does have a pump in the tank check for a blown fuse or bad pump relay before removing tank. Most tank pump circuits use a cut off switch at the oil pressure sender outlet.Make sure switch is closed with oil pressure.Opens when pressure drops as a cutoff safety feature,Good Luck Mike |
