Hi does any know how to flush trans fluid using the two lines that go to cooler or should I just do the filter and fluid at pan change. RV has less than 75,000 on it and no problems to speak of. Thanks in advance DZ
I suggest just doing the fluid and filter change. The only way to flush the cooler (correctly) is using fluid under pressure. The cooler isn't usually flushed unless the transmission has failed spectacularly.
keep in mind that if the fluid hasn't been changed on a regular basis, you may be causing problems by changing the fluid. Also, the band(s) should be tightened at this point if they haven't been tightened already.
