I have a 1996 Safari Continental DP and have no brake lights. I have checked all the fuses that I can find in the 3 fuse block/panels (each panel have rows of at least 10). Now I am trying to locate the brake light switch with out success. The brake pedal goes thru the floor and connects to some sort of hydra-boost. There is some sort of wiring to this unit but I cannot determine if any would be a brake light switch. Does anyone know or can help me?
THE BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH IS UNDER THE DASH ASIDE THE BRAKE PEDDLE CHECK AND SEE IF IT IS PULG IN AND WITH A TEST LIGHT SEE IF YOU HAVE POWER ON ONE WIRE I THINK IT WILL BE GREEN ALSO CHECK THE FOUR WAY FLASHERS
Thanks I did not think about the 4 way flasher. About the dash thing,my brake does not hang from the dash. The brake pedal rod goes thru the floor and is linkaged/connected to the hydra boost directly.I cannot find a switch that would be activated bty the pedal assembly. There are switches on the hydra boost but looks to be hard connected (no plug).
