Having trouble starting generator. If I hammer on the LP line it helps. Fuel regulator has been replaces three times and the problem still exists. Onan hasn't found the problem. Done this since it was new

Im maybe guessing but---the carbon monoxide "electric" valve must open to operate anything propane--and is it possible you could have dirt in the gas line-from rust in the tank? and also check your ground between the generator and the MH frame.are you getting spark to the plugs.?
hitting on the line--sounds like you are knocking something around---allowing the gas to go thru the line--
