6.5 onan neh.. Breakers pop at unit Ted 6-3-07
Just discovered a problem today. the units 30 amp breakers pop. there are two breakers the both pop with in a second. even with the main breaker to the cab all in the off position the breakers still blow. so there is either a short after the breakers on the unit or this is my question. Would the breakers pop if the generator was burned out? everything was ok until a short trip last week. any ideas? thanks ted

I wanted to add that the unit remains running.

Found the short at the genset junction box. but now i have this generator staling after engaging the the rear ac unit. sometimes and most of the time the gen shuts down showing an overload of amps. but sometimes the generator starts right up and runs fine with the load. complexed situation. any help appreciated Ted..
