My motorhome has a 454 chevy in it and the brakes and the power steering are making noise. Had a mechanic tell me that there is a leak in the steering pump and it will effect the brakes; didn't make sense to me but now I wonder. Thing is, I don't want to drive this to the mechanic now (I'm in a remote area, about 150 miles away) and can't find where to add the fluid. There's a black resevoir on the firewall that is not labelled; it could be power steering, it could be brake... HELP!
I have a 1985 pace arrow. The brakes on my unit use pressure from the power steering pump to power assist the brakes. No vacuum booster. Make sure that u keep the ps thing filled
