Hi Dean,

There is a lot of play up and down because the slide room "floats" on it's way in and out. Once it is in position it firms up against the wall.

The sticking problem can usually be cured by raising that side of the room slightly. You need to put a jack under the side of the room to hold it in place, then loosen the bolts that hold the end of the ram to that end of the slide. Raise the room a bit with the jack (1/8" at a time is plenty) then tighten the bolts and try the slide again. You would be amazed at how much a 1/8" adjustment will affect the operation of the slide.

Hope this helps

2000wilderness 31foot. slide will not operate sometimes. last summer this happened and we tested all fuses etc. we manualy cranked the slide out and back in. put battery directly to the motor, worked fine,in and out.for some reason the slide worked for the rest of the summer. yesterday tryed to run slide out, would not operate. tried to connect to battery to operate, this time the wireing overheated at the terminal under the bed. can you help?
