I have heard two opinions about how to leave my engine idling. Some say the fast idle was/is more for the original AC use while sitting still. Therefor not needed in an RV application. The other argument is that the Detroit Deisel does not oil well at low idle while sitting a longer period of time. Therefore use the fast idle.???THE NEW TERMS IS DONT IDLE THE DIESELS OVER 5 MINUTES TEMP. COOL DOWN TO MUCH AN IT WILL BREAK DOWN THE LUBE OILS
