Dodge used a fusible link down by the starter. It provides 12v to the chassis systems. This link acts like a fuse and burns out if overloaded. Use a test light to check for continuity. Also they usually are very soft and stretchy when blown. Most auto parts houses carry replacements.
Hi, I am NOT getting any spark from my coil wire to distributor. I tried grounding it out on to metal, and no spark. I have changed the Ballast resistor, coil, spark plug wires, voltage regulator. No clue as to what happened. I did washdown the engine, and re-started the engine right after that and ran it for an hour. It started fine, but the next day when I went to tune it up, it happened. It's a 1967 dodge coronet model440 w/318 2bbl. VinF. Hope you can help. Thank you.
I have a 1993 Eurovan that for several years has had an electrical problem with the gas/temperature gauges. Sometimes, which tapping on the instrument panel, I can get it temporarily working again. Also, it is more likely to work with an almost full tank of gasoline. Any ideas?
