I think the Taurus heating system is a poor design overall. The coolant fouls up at least once a year, and if you miss some particles during the flush, you end up with a plugged core. I have tied the blend door open in the Cold Canadian winter, and closed it in the summer. Every now and again I will lose heat, and if I check, the core is plugged. I have even removed that silly bypass hose for the heater core. I would suggest never buying another Taurus. |
