Sounds like u already found the problem--bad ground! I can think of no reason to have a relay in the water pump system. Most likely, the switches are wired parallel. Just run a new ground for the pump, since u didn't mention running a hot jumper to it, I presume u used one of the switches to get power to the pump.
I have a '93 Fleetwood Coronado. It has three separate switches that will turn on/off the water pump and none of them work. I am able to ground the pump and it will turn on. I am assuming the switches have a bad relay. I have spent several hours tearing apart everything and still can not find a relay switch. Any advice on where it could be loacated or how the switches work would be apprciated. |
