The blend door actuator is behind the radio. It has 2 wires to it. Look for stuck open or closed. if dirty clean out.If it's working OK try just flushing the heater core itself, take it out of the coolent system,flush with a garden hose,one way then reverse hose lines and repeat.Brown water and solids should come out with hose pressure. Good Luck
