I recently purhased a '92 Jayco Designer Series 27' Motorhome with a Ford 460 coach. The cigarette lighter sockets worked at first but now they are dead. Is there a fuse somewhere? Please help! Also when the sockets did work, I used one inverter in each socket and had some trouble with one TVs cutting out once in a while, even when cruising down the highway. Any ideas?
The lighter sockets are fed from the battery at all times, they are not switched to converter output when the rig is connected to shore power. If you have a Magnetek converter, the lighter socket fuse(s) will be one of the three automotive fuses at the right front side of the converter fuse panel. |
