I purchased a new 2000 Diesel Winnebago Chieftain last December. There is a vibration that can't be traced. Valvec provided me with updated mirrors which didn't help. Cummins advised me that the engine was not installed properly by Freightliner because they used the incorrect motor mounts. They changed the motor mounts, (after keeping the coach for 4 weeks) and the vibraion still exists! The mirrors jiggle to the point that I can't see behind me. Has anyone had this problem with a diesel coach? The vibration is there whether the coach is at idle or moving. Worse at 65 MPH. Suggestions welcome.
Since you indicate the vibration is present whenever the engine is running and gets worse at speed, whatever is causing the vibration must have something to do with the engine.
My first area of investigation would be the fan. A fan with just a little bit of one blade missing can cause an extreme imbalance problem which would shake and shake and shake.
Another area of investigation would include anything that is run off of the fan belt(s). It doesn't take much to really shake and shake.

Check the allignment of the driveshaft u-joints. If the ride highth of the rear suspension is out of spec. the u-joints will cause a vibration. The u-joints used are not constant velocity.
