Our 1989 dometic 2601 fridge stopped working this spring. The heating elements seem to work, the gas flame is working, but it does not cool.I can hear the refridgerant,gurgle , but nothing. I have talked to several dealers and they tell me it is the cooling unit. They tell me it is around 700$ for a rebuilt unit, does anyone service these colling units? I am in central Ohio Thank You, Kent

I just went through that with mine. I ended up installing a new 2820 because my old cooling unit needed so much work. Go to http://rvmobile.com/welcome.htm. This guy is incredible. He is in the business to make money, of course. And he will certainly get any business I can send him. Check it out. |
