The skylite over my shower is cracked from years of UV exposure. It is a 17x 24 stationary skylite that simply screws to roof. The standard opening for fans and vents is 14x14.
Any ideas on where to find this size and type skylight?
IF I READ YOUR POSTING CORRECTLY, YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A SKYLIGHT THE OUTER PANEL IS 16.75" X 23.75" iD THIS IS THE CORRECT SIZE THE ORDER NUMBER FROM WINNEBAGO DEALER IS 080910-01-000. THIS IS FOR THE OUTER PANEL. THE WINNEBAGO INDUSTRIES R.V. PARTS& ACCESSORIES CATALOG SHOWS SEVERAL SKYLIGHTS. THEY ALLSO SHOW THE INNER PANEL AND EXTERIOR TRIM. IF YOU NEED THESE PART NUMBERS LET ME KNOW AND WILL E-MAIL THEM TO YOU. HAROLD
Thanks for the info. I have ordered the plastic skylight as a separate item. The aluminum frame is OK except it has about 1" of what appears to be rubber roof sealer all around it. I guess it was put on by the previous owner to stop or prevent a leak. It is really sticky and difficult to remove from the frame and the roof top. Any tricks for getting this stuff off other than scrapping and pulling??
Appreciate any ideas.
I USE PAINT REDUCER. IT SOFTENS AND DESOLVES THE TAR AND SEALENT. IF YOU USE THIS MAKE SURTAN THAT YOU USE IT OUT SIDE AS THE FUMES ARE QUITE STRONG. HAROLD
