The skylite over my shower is cracked from years of UV exposure. It is a 17x 24 stationary skylite that simply screws to roof. The standard opening for fans and vents is 14x14.
Any ideas on where to find this size and type skylight?

THIS IS FOR THE OUTER PANEL. THE WINNEBAGO INDUSTRIES R.V. PARTS& ACCESSORIES CATALOG SHOWS SEVERAL SKYLIGHTS. THEY ALLSO SHOW THE INNER PANEL AND EXTERIOR TRIM. IF YOU NEED THESE PART NUMBERS LET ME KNOW AND WILL E-MAIL THEM TO YOU. HAROLD
Thanks for the info. I have ordered the plastic skylight as a separate item. The aluminum frame is OK except it has about 1" of what appears to be rubber roof sealer all around it. I guess it was put on by the previous owner to stop or prevent a leak. It is really sticky and difficult to remove from the frame and the roof top. Any tricks for getting this stuff off other than scrapping and pulling??
Appreciate any ideas.
I USE PAINT REDUCER. IT SOFTENS AND DESOLVES THE TAR AND SEALENT. IF YOU USE THIS MAKE SURTAN THAT YOU USE IT OUT SIDE AS THE FUMES ARE QUITE STRONG. HAROLD |
