My boy has a 99 Ford Taurus and he has experienced the same problems you are having. The problem he had was the anti-freeze oxidized because of a crack in the reserve tank (pressure tank). The anti-freeze was so dirty it plugged the heater core. He had to have the system flushed but it didn't help with the heating problem. I myself flushed the heater core with a garden hose (hooked to a hot water tank)through the heater hoses. He immediately had heat after flush the core. |
