|1988 Keystone Sprinter Travel Trailer||Kara||11-2-15|
|We are recent owners of a 1988 Sprinter Travel Trailer, it didn't come with an owners manual and we have a few questions. Is the hot water heater located on the outside of the TT in the metal door with the vents? Does the hot water heater use propane or electricity to heat the water? Can we run the furnace by either electric or propane the same as with the refrigerator and the AC? Thanks to anyone who can help us out with these questions.|

|Your water heater on the outside is a largish square or rectangular Metal door with a vent grill in it. It will definately burn propane for hot water and may have a 120 volt heat option. The interior controls will have a switch marked with a flame and may have one marked with a lightning bolt for electric.|
The furnace uses 12 volt for the thermostat and fan and ONLY propane for heat. There is a system called a converter to make 12 volt from 120 volt to run the controls.
