|Dometic RM2620 stopped working||Rick||10-12-15|
|I have a Dometic2620 purchased in Nov. '05. It has worked flawlessly until a few weeks ago when it stopped cooling. All interior and control panel lights work, but no cooling. Any suggestions would be GEATLY appreciated.|

|"THE TEST": Step 1 Turn on the fridge Go around the outside and take off the vent grill at the back. If you see yellow powder stop Go to step two. Go have coffee or beer or chase your spose around the bedroom for an hour. Go back to the fridge, the metal chimney on the right side and put your hand on it, is it hot if yes go to step two if not step three.|
Step 2: The cooling unit has failed. It may be repairable but when you are done it will cost 50 to 80% of a complete new fridge.
Step 3: You have a control or heating element failure. and need to diagnose that. It will likely be a failed element or failur to burn LPG.

|WOW!!! Thank you, Bubba! Unbelievably clear and concise step-by-step instructions. I have a bad cooling unit and the price range you estimated is absolutely right. I am going to buy a new unit versus a re-built unit.|
I noticed you have solved many others problems while researching advice... You da man!
Thank you, again!
