Hi Thomas, You need a 12V battery to run the fridge electronics to open the gas valve and temp control. You don't have to have 120V to run on LP. Good luck
Once I start the fridge with the battery and gas can I disconnect the battery and the fridge continue to run on gas. I tried this and the flame goes out.
My fridge freezes ever thing now, it don't matter if its on gas or elect. I defrosted it and slide the temp control slide inside the fridge all the way down it still froze everything.
it must be the thermostate can this be changed out, is it hard to do.
