I would like to know where the power converter is located on my 1999 Itasca model 429w and the proper way to check and see if it's charging my batterys
Hi Manny, Sorry can't tell you where the converter is located, I just hunted one down on a Wilderness 5th wheel and it was under the kitchen sink, back in a corner. Nice place to put it, where a water leak could raise havoc..... To check the charging, remove the 120V power to the motorhome. Check the voltage at the RV house battery(s). Plug it back in and check to see if you have an increase in voltage to the batt's. Should be about 13.68 to 14 volts coming from the converter. Good luck
