I went camping for a week and the fridge was working fine on electric. I come home and plug it back in and nothing. I switched it to gas and it lit and ran fine. Been running it all summer on LP. I took the fridge out and am now looking for direction on what to look for to fix my problem. Any advice is appreciated.
Hi Joseph, Sounds like your 120V heating element burned out. It's sticking out of the flue above the LP burner, has 2 wires attached to it. Check for 120V where the wires connect. You can also ohm the wires while disconnected. No resistance or infinite it's a goner. There also may be a fuse...? It's an oldie as I am. Good luck.
