I have a 1996 Chevy Tahoe LT 4X4 with the 5.7L Vortec V8 with 194000 miles. I'm just curious if a LT1 engine will fit and much difficulty comes with it!!
Call the local salvage yards. They have manuals that tell what will fit in what. It is a very extensive book of knowledge. Also, check with a company called Trans-Dapt they may have an answer for you as well. Hope this helps.
