Water leaking getting carpet wet. not a large amount of water but enough. underneath the front of the door is leaking some water. I am disconecting the ice maker feed line to eliminate that as a source. perhaps the condensate coujld be the culprit. confused.
There have been some water lines - between the water valve and the ice maker - that have deterioriated and will leak right thru the wall of the tubing but just during the ice maker cycle. Only soluton is to replace the water line. Home Depot has GE Icemaker water line kit and the tubing is PEX material -- about $8.00 -- much more durable. Fridge must be pulled to replace (unless it is in a slide room with an upper sidewall vent). WH
