838 eg2 norcold not getting cold by pete k

I recently purchased a 1985 mallard. in checking all the appliances, i find the fridge not getting cold. how long should it take for this to get cold? i did see a recall on-line that this unit did not recieve. a new eybrow with updated wiring. i am not sure if this can be done anymore? anyway, the gas system seems to light and stay lit. it gets hot in the back but no cooling in the cabinet. the electric portion seems to work too, but still no cooling. i don't see any evidence of any ammonia leaks or smell or powder. any assistance would be appreciated. thank you
