I just bought a 1990 ford f250 with a 7.3 diesel w/ banks turbo. It has about 6,000 miles on the engine I was wondering what is the best brand name oil to use??? I use to use GTX in my non diesel engine
I use Shell... Oh heck I can't rember, the 15 40 stuff that Shell says is best. Comes in 20 Liter (5 gal US) buckets at Wally Mart. Only have 430,000 on my truck. Buy a brand name that meets the requirments set out by Banks the freindly folks at Ford. Good Luck
