Dometic rm 2193 Erik 6-3-09
Posted earlier with wrong model #. I have a tent trailer with a 3-way dometic rm-2193 which is not working. I believe it was run while out of level and may have been damaged. It does not operate in any mode.

The fridge will probably need 8 hours to properly cool from a dead start, what performance issue do you have, wont cool, wont cool quickly? Please elaborate

To bubba the bus tech.
I have the same model. MR2193. the trailer is 1 year old. last year when it was new it would not go below 10 degrees celcius on gas but worked fine on 110v. i changed the propane regulator and it seemed to be fine. Now it seems to not cool below 10 degrees on 110v or propane. any suggestions?

Our dometic rm 2193 cools on gas but not on electric. The camper is level. The back of refrig gets hot on gas but not not when on 120 electric.

I have a Dometic RM 2193 that is three years old, last year between camping trips, I attempted to start the pilot for the gas, approximately one minute later, smoke began coming from the unit. I took the entire gas assembly apart, and found a spider nest clogging the burner assembly. I replaced a wire that had the insulation burned off, and since then the unit does not work on ac, dc, or gas, I removed the unit from my pop up, and plugged it in to 110 ac, left it overnight with a thermometer, and the next day it still was warm. Any suggestions would be great, thanks.
