How do I install a new CCI wall mount gas detector. It has 2 wires and I can cut a hole in the wall to resess from a template but I'm not sure what to do with the wires and the converter.
Most likely a 12 volt LPG detector. This is the most comon type. If you have a 12 volt stereo in the trailer hook it up on the same fuse and positve to fuse other to ground there is usualy a ground buss bar at you 12 distrib panel. Any handy light that has power to the fixture all the time is good or any other 12 volt thing. The instructions and the stickes on the back of the detector should tell you what wire is positive.
