I am experiencing a squalling noise near the front of the motor, and only at start up. It lasts for about 10 to 15 seconds and finally goes quiet. Sionce this is aoriginal furnace, I may have to replace the motor unless someone has a better idea. Is ther a particular sequence to do a proper R & R?
Hi Don, See the thread below "Motor Removal Steps for 8535 II Hydro Flame" on 5-13-09. Basically the same as yours except your motor is held in with a hose clamp set up. You'll see the difference, no biggie. Good luck!
