I have a 1988 Ford Tioga motorhome that has a toilet that will not stop running. The valve will not close all the way and it is causing the water to run. Where can I find either a replacement toilet or valve?
Hi Bryan, Since you didn't say what kind of toilet you have.... I'm going to guess it's a Thetford lowboy Galaxy/Starlite. These were pretty popular back then. If so I'd suggest a new toilet. Is the waste slide valve closing all the way? If not this will cause the water to run. If you need a new mechanism it will cost you as much as a new toilet. An Aqua Magic V lowboy will interchange with a little change to the water line. If it is just the valve you should be able to get one or a toilet at an RV shop or online. All this is speculation since you didn't give much info. Good luck!
You're welcome Bryan. I said lowboy because that's sometimes/likely what's in a older motorhome. Could have a high boy. Measure the height and order accordingly. Good luck!
