Update:
PB blaster to the face of the control(?) box and now the knobs turn like new.
used the air compressor to blow air through the lines and clean the inside of the burner unit and exahst. Sprayed carborator cleaner in the bruner trying to hit the jet as much as possible.
It seems to be functioning much better. Althought the temp was higher last night here at lower elevations I felt there was a dramatic improvement.
I am still alittle worried that that 9,000 btu's may not be enough when its reallly cold outside. Thinking of picking up a small coleman catalitic heater to suppliment on cold nights. |
