When we turn on the thermostat, it comes on, you can see zone 1 and 2 and cycle between the 2 for all modes EXCEPT furnace. furnace mode doesn't show up at all. After it is on maybe 45 seconds or so, all the modes disappear, the only thing that shows is the zone 1 and zone 2 readings. If you turn it off and then on again it starts the same process over again. At no point does the air conditioner come on. One other thing we did was to get a phone cord and plug it directly into the board, nothing shows up on the thermostat at all. Maybe a phone cord is the wrong type?? Any suggestions on what to try next??
If Furnace doesn;t display there is an electrical problem - no voltage coming from the furnace!
I still don't think it is the thermostat -- Again borrow one from a neighbor. Telephone line won't work - plugs are opposite-- they must be parallel.
You probably need a tech to check this out. Sorry William
Hi William, thanks again for the reply. So if there is no power coming from the furnace that would make the whole system not work? The furnace would make the thermostat not display correctly and the air conditioner mode not work?
Working on finding a thermostat in the mean time to try out. Noone else we know has an RV! :)
