I have a hydro-air furnace that looks like the Atwood Furnace Everest Star 7900 II, but it's an earlier model, where you push the plunger to light the pilot. The pilot's always lit well, but suddenly has become almost impossible to light -- takes 5 minutes or more. I don't understand what happens when you click it anyway. Is there any way to light it manually? Or how is this usually fixed?
Also, the fan's begun to squeak something fierce. Can it be taken apart and lubricated?
